Sleep Out: Women Unite off to a successful start
On April 28, 2017, We held our first annual Sleep Out: Women Unite Edition. 44 women from throughout the Philadelphia region raised an astonishing $52,000 and counting for runaway, homeless, and trafficked youth. A big thank you goes out to our Sleep Out Committee of Bet Dolaway, Carolyn Jacobs, Mary Dolaway, and Michele Dolaway. Thank you for helping to bring Sleep Out: Women Unite to Covenant House Pennsylvania.

AmerisourceBergen is a True Champion for Homeless Youth
On March 16, 2017, AmerisourceBergen sponsored our Annual Basketball Tournament. ABC Associates played alongside our staff as four teams went head-to-head for the annual tournament championship. The Program Staff team took home their first tournament victory that night and everyone had great fun competing for the coveted Covenant House Pennsylvania trophy.

Stepping up for the youth of Covenant House Pennsylvania
On May 13, 2017, local photographer Stevie Chris hosted the Step Up Gala at the Bok in South Philadelphia. Stevie decided to host this small gala to raise money and awareness around the vital issue of youth homelessness and to support the work of Covenant House Pennsylvania. Even though it was his first foray into the world of fundraising, with the support of our team and our new Do-It-Yourself fundraising platform the event raised almost $2,000 in its first year!
