There are many ways you can invest your time to help homeless young people at Covenant House Pennsylvania. From tutoring, leading recreational activities, to offering your valuable skills and knowledge to our youth, you too can become a part of our movement to help homeless young people prosper.

To be a Mentor you must:

- Be at least 23 years old

- Obtain necessary clearances

- Provide two letters of recommendation

- Sign our Volunteer Ethics Statement

- Attend group orientation and Abuse Prevention training

As a mentor, you can enhance our programming and impact the lives of our youth by bringing your skills and talents to Covenant House Pennsylvania.

Mentor opportunities include conducting life-skills workshops, leading or supporting recreational and/or leisure activities, mentoring, and tutoring youth. We do have some very specific needs for our mentors, but are also open to other ideas and opportunities.

In addition, we need always need volunteers to support our major fundraising events throughout the year. Afterall, the best volunteers are advocates, donors and fundraisers too.

Some basic requirements for mentors are listed opposite. However, please contact contact Robert Zindell, Associate Director of Development, at rzindell@covenanthousepa.org to begin the process so that we can ensure that that we have an opportunity that is right for you.

Thank you for wanting to help our young people.
