Covenant House Challenge

We understand that our Sleep Out events are not for everyone. That is why we created a new peer-to-peer fundraising event called the Covenant House Challenge. The team at Covenant House Pennsylvania will run you and a group of your friends, family, colleagues, or fellow congregants through a scavenger hunt in Philadelphia with the aim of putting the "fun" back in fundraising.

Your company or organization can help Covenant House Pennsylvania continue to provide love, support, hope and opportunity to thousands of youth each year by joining us for a Covenant House Challenge Event.

This is a great team-building exercise for companies, religious organizations or civic groups. It is a fun-filled afternoon for all participants. The best part is that it’s all for a great cause.

After the event, all participants will hear from one of our amazing young people who you helped support by taking the challenge!

Event Fundraising Goal

We ask that each group that proposes a Covenant House Challenge event to us aim for an overall event goal of $10,000. This event takes planning, preparation, and staff time to execute and we always want to make it meaningful to you our supporters. That is why the event goal exists to make it worth everyone's time and to make the biggest impact possible for our youth.

Individual or team fundraising goals will vary depending on the overall number of participants and teams. We will help you set those goals once the headcount is finalized.

Example: We recommend 20 participants, which breaks down to five teams with four members each. This would make the team goal $2,000 and the individual goal $500.

Team Structure

All teams should consist of 4 members with one member taking one of the 4 roles described in the chart to the right.
