One of the most important parts of the work that we do with the youth here, is be advocates on their behalf. We are always looking at ways that we can partner with other agencies to explore ways that we as a society can be serving these young people better. Covenant House Pennsylvania is represented on a number of national, state and local committees and coalitions advocating for the rights of homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth.

In 2008, we joined forces with the other agencies serving this population within the Philadelphia area to create the Southeastern Pennsylvania Runaway and Homeless Youth Coalition. The efforts of this group are to create and promote an advocacy agenda and raise awareness in our community about the issues that our youth face.
