Available Position: Housekeeper
Position Summary: To insure that the Agency is kept in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with established safety and sanitary standards, there is an immediate need for a housekeeper to perform all housekeeping functions and some light maintenance duties. Candidates must have experience in cleaning large facilities, preferably residential, and have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures utilized in housekeeping. Work schedule may include weekends and multiple locations.
Requirements: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI (Fingerprint) Criminal History Background Check, the PA State Police Criminal Record Check are required, as well as, a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record are required. Prior experience in a residential facility with an adolescent population is a plus.

Available Position: Youth Advisor
Position Summary: Provide direct, supportive, individualized care to youth in the Crisis Residential Program, utilizing case management skills. Through the team approach, the youth advisor will provide assessments to determine referrals to internal and external programs and services. This is a full time, non-exempt position with a full benefit package and a competitive salary. Work schedule may vary.
Requirements: A Bachelors degree in a human service or related field is required. A successful candidate must have excellent communication and crisis management skills, a strong desire to work with at-risk adolescents, and the ability to handle physically and emotionally challenging situations. Available Position: Residential Coordinator
Position Summary: The Residential Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, documentation and evaluation of residential programming and activities consistent with the Agency’s mission and principles to ensure a safe, healthy environment for the youth we serve and staff. As the team leader, the Residential Coordinator supervises program staff in all aspects of development and guidance, including individual and group supervision, training, performance management, as well as facilitates and coordinates all team meetings, case reviews and transition meetings.
Administratively, the Residential Coordinator prepares monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, and ensures responsible use of all resources and distribution of funds. Also, the Residential Coordinator maintains accurate documentation of case file; grant reports and program information.
Requirements: Candidates should have a Masters degree in a human service field; excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills; deep commitment to the youth we serve, knowledge of youth population issues, strong ability to handle multiple tasks; residential programming experience a plus; valid driver’s license and insurable driving record is required.

Available Position: Outreach Worker
Position Summary: Covenant House Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for an Outreach Worker to conduct street outreach in all areas of the City with a high concentration of homeless and at risk youth. This involves identifying youth and providing services such as food, clothing, shelter, and referral services.
Requirements: Candidate should be familiar with case management, record documentation, conflict resolution and crisis intervention techniques. Weekends and nights are part of the basic work schedule. Individual must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population and have knowledge of current issues facing youth. Undergraduate degree is a plus. Must have valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
